Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership’s flagship program, the State Leadership Seminar, is designed to empower high school sophomores to recognize their leadership talents and apply them to be effective, ethical leaders in their home, school, and community. Godwin’s selected student attends a 3 or 4 day seminar to participate in hands-on leadership activities, meet leaders in your state, and explore their personal leadership skills; all while learning how to lead others and make a positive impact in the community.
This year the HOBY conference will take place June 1 – 3, 2018 on the campus of JMU in Harrisonburg.
If interested, in addition to submitting your name below please include a brief essay on “Leadership.” You have latitude to tackle the topic from any perspective. Keep your essay to roughly no more than 250 words.
