Hi! My name is Mrs. Gilmartin, and I am excited to begin my 32nd year of teaching. I am a graduate of Virginia Tech. Go Hokies! I have 3 children. My daughter, Riley, is happily married and getting ready to celebrate her two year anniversary with her husband. My oldest son, Nolan, is a 10th grader at Benedictine, and my youngest son, Brooks, is a 9th grader at Godwin.
I feel so lucky to work at Echo Lake. We are going to have a ton of fun as we as work to become future world changers!

Snack- Reese’s peanut butter cups (You can never have too many!)
Drink- coffee (especially Starbucks pumpkin spice latte)
Restaurant- Plaza Azteca (Guacamole is my favorite!)
Favorite instrument- piano ( I took lessons for 8 years.)
Favorite thing to do in my spare time- READ! ( I collect books. Amazon loves me!)
Sport- lacrosse and softball (My boys have played lacrosse for the past 9 years. My daughter started softball in kindergarten and played all the way through college!)
Shopping- The Lazy Daisy (This place is amazing!), Tweed, Short Pump Town Center
