I think that it would be called The New Life because I think it would be about Nathan going on a boat south away from the place he has always known. He will have to start over and leave everyone he has ever known behind.
Chapter 22 would be called “A New Begining” because it would be about his adventure to his new farm and his journey to get there.
Chapter 22 would be called a new life. It would be about his new life on the new farm. I think that they would also have a ceremony for Dolla Bill because he saved Nathan’s life. I think this is what it would be about because this is a major event in Nathan’s life, a second step.
I think the next chapter would be called to late before her fate because they said in the book that Nathan’s mom was doing worse in July then she was in April when they arrived in Tatoosh. They decided to move so she could get better but I think that they were in Tatoosh for to long that his mother got to sick and died. I also think Beth might of had something worse than what her family thought, like caner or maybe a heart disease.
If I could name chapter 22 it would be called A New Beginning. Chose this because the MacAllisters are going to live in California which is completely different and they will be on a farm not out at sea. It will be a big transition but they will be great farmers!

It would explain what would be happening to them, about how Nathan misses Neah Bay, and how Nathan’s mother is doing because she is sick. I think that because at the end of chapter twenty one Nathan and his family were leaving to go build a farm with the gold bar that Lighthouse George gave Nathan and his family. In chapter twenty two I think that the author would write about building the farm and how it was like living on the farm.
I think that chapter 22 would be called “The Ride Home”. I think it could be called “The Ride Home” because I think that Nathan would be thinking a lot about Lighthouse George on their way home, it could be talking about Nathan’s mom being sick, or chapter 22 could be about the ride to California.

I think that it should be called the farm because they’re going to there new home and they would probably check it out and tell the reader the setting.

First, I say this because Nathan and his family are moving to California on the “Anna Rose.” Second, Nathan and his dad are going to build a ranch on a valley in California with a little help from the gold Lighthouse George gave him.
I think chapter 22 would be called ‘Finally Home’ because I think chapter 22 would be sent in the future when Nathan does returned to Neah Bay and sees Lighthouse George once again.
Sailing from Home to Home should be the title of chapter 22 because they were sailing away from Cape Flattery and Neah Bay which was where Nathan had lived essentially his entire life, to California which is where his new home would be, specifically on a farm.

I think that we would be introduced to the new setting and about Nathan’s feelings about this place, but it wouldn’t be giving us too much information for another 5 chapters.
The chapter should be called rebirth because Kane could still be alive. If he is, there can be a book called Ghost Canoe 2.

When there back on Neah bay, Beth Mcallister will die of sickness. Returning home is in parentheses because Nathan says it when the boat crashes. Lighthouse George comes to see them after the crash. On Neah Bay, a new mystery will start!

Nathan would tell stories about the treasure hunt, Kane, the robbery, the “Hairy Man,” the Burnaby, and Dolla Bill. Ghost Canoe was a great book!
