**Permission forms for our upcoming field trip to the Symphony will be coming home on Monday- you are able make online payments here for convenience or send in the $6 with your child’s permission form.  We will be looking for 3 chaperones, please contact me if you are interested!

Go Nuts for Reading!

The Richmond Flying Squirrels are pleased to announce that the Flying Squirrels Reading Program, “Go Nuts for Reading!” is back for its tenth season! This year’s program, which will run through Wednesday, March 20th 2019, is open to all CTES to participate! After reading 8 books and signing your child’s bookmark, your child will receive a FREE baseball voucher to the 6:35 pm April 18th baseball game. It will be a fun-filled night, beginning with a school parade around the diamond and ending with (fingers crossed) a win for our Flying Squirrels!! Look for more information in the Cub Chronicle and lets “play ball!”

After School Enrichment

2019 Winter After School Enrichment Classes

Classes will begin the week of February 11 and will run through the week of March 18. 

If you have a PTA Membership, you will have first “choice” on ASE Classes!! 

ASE registration for PTA Membership begins January 22nd – 24th. 

Regular ASE registration begins Friday, January 25. 

Registration deadline is Monday, February 4, 2019.

We are excited to welcome Catava Burton, HCPS Educational Specialist, to Muffins with Moms, January 18, from 8-8:30am.

In her “Are You Smarter than Your Child’s Smart Phone?” workshop she will share the latest texting slang, secret apps, and social media tricks.  Information will also be provided on bullying/cyberbullying, human trafficking, internet safety, and psychological impact of these issues.  Strategies will be provided to help parents keep their children safe.  Bring your smart phone!
