HCPS School Web Editor Summer Training & Website SUMMERizing

Good Morning HCPS School Web Editors & Principals

As the school year comes to an end I’d like to thank you on behalf of the HCPS Communications & Public Relations department for your efforts to keep your communities informed through your school website. Please note the action items below and act accordingly:

1. Reply to this email on your status as the school web editor for the 16-17 school year. Will it still be you, or someone else?

2. SUMMERize your school’s website (prepare your school website now with as much updated information as possible for the coming school year)

Update your school supply lists for the fall
Remove any outdated or irrelevant posts and media files (pictures, graphics, PDF’s, documents etc.)
Update faculty list (as much as possible) for the 16-17 school year

3. Get trained for the 16-17 school year! Training dates are listed below. First time school web editors MUST attend training, veterans only need to attend if you feel you need a refresher. Visit http://ero.henrico.k12.va.us/ to register.

All classes will be from 2-4 pm in the Henrico County Public Schools Central Administration Multi-Purpose Room
