Your assitance is requested in reaching out to families affected by autism. On the evening of April 5th, the “Autism Night Out” will be held. There will be over 25 vendors sharing information about programs in the community (the Autism Society Central Virginia, Engineering for Kids, RAIN, Jacob’s Chance, to name just a few), as well as speakers, hors d’oeuvres, and raffles! Additionally, transportation will be available for those who need it, as well as child care (child care may be limited, depending on the response). Please see the attached invitation for details and registration information and share with the families of Henrico students identified as having autism. Please remember to include students who are supported by a 504 plan, as well as an IEP. We appreciate your help in making this a success!
