Goodwill has reached out to us to see if there are any schools, PTA’s, or other groups that are willing to donate their old denim. They’re calling it the 2016 Big Denim Drive.
Goodwill intends to award $10,000 in prize money to the top three elementary, middle, and high schools. ($1,000 for first place, $750 for second place, $500 for third place). In addition, there will be other small dollar incentives during the event.
PARTICIPATION IS ENTIRELY VOLUNTARY. We are sharing this information in case you know of a group that’s willing to facilitate this effort at your school.
The Big Denim Drive will take place on April 16th and 17th and again on April 23rd and 24th at Regency Square Mall.
