Library of Virginia Essay Contest: Awards include an iPad for the students and $1,000 for the school

The Library of Virginia and its partner, Dominion Resources, announce their fall essay contest as part of the program Strong Men and Women in Virginia History, a project designed to commemorate the achievements of African Americans in Virginia.

Please distribute the attached letter and announcement to the appropriate staff for dissemination to the student body. But hurry: the contest ends at midnight on Friday, 14 November!
