Evening School SAT Prep Class?

by :

I have discussed the idea of establishing an SAT Prep course similar to what many schools now offer during the early bird period through the Evening School of Excellence. The thought is that many of the students who are traditionally enrolling in SAT prep coursework are not able to participate during early bird sections, since those with complex schedules for specialty centers, band, or drivers ed already have that block consumed. On the other side, many of the students who may be able to participate or need to participate cannot because transportation and logistics in the morning are impossible. Granted, there is no transportation provided in the evening, but I cannot help but think it would be easier for students to access transportation during evening hours. Student athletes would also be more able to participate due to the later start time.

So-while SAT prep is not, as I have been told, in line with the traditional goals of the Evening School of Excellence, I am laying down the gauntlet and would be glad to offer up Hermitage as a location and even have teachers ready to go to instruct in short order.
