Cookies for Kids’ Cancer bake sale
The boys helped at the Pleasants Hardware/Tuckahoe Shopping Center and raised nearly $3K.
The boys labeled the cookies, accepted donations for the cookies for hours and then counted all the money afterwards. The boys were thrilled to involve all friends in the cause.

Susanna Shepard organized a book drive to benefit VCU/MCV Hospital Hospitality House/JC Poma. Eight hundred books were collected and delivered by Susanna with the help of her family. Thank you for taking the initiative and seeing your dream fulfilled.

Fetch A Cure January 2014
Fetch A Cure is a Richmond, Va. based nonprofit that raises funds to pay for disease treatments (cancer, diabetes) for dogs whose owners otherwise could not afford to pay to care for their pets. These sixth grade IB students spent the afternoon of one of the January 2014 snow days working at Fetch A Cure’s headquarters on Patterson Avenue to help prepare for a fundraising mailing and making special packets of dog treats.

COOKIES FOR KIDS SEPTEMBER 7, 2013
Cookies for Kids’ Cancer is a nationwide nonprofit that raises funds to find new therapies and an eventual cure for children’s cancers through bake sales and donations. These sixth grade IB students participated by holding a bake sale in September (pediatric cancer awareness month) and raised more than $2,000.
Special Olympics June 2012
A group of TMS IB students helped Snagajob’s team of volunteers in charge of the “Volunteer 2 Cheer” program at the Special Olympics, held at the University of Richmond June 2, 2012.
Our first IB Community and Service activity was a TMS Clean Up Saturday in the fall of 2010. The Fellowship parents provided coffee and donuts for parents and students for a get to know each other time before we started beautifying the school ground.
