Dear Families,
We had so much fun today learning about entrepreneurship and starting businesses with our Junior Achievement Program! Thank you Liz and Tierra from Genworth Financial who volunteered to spend their day with us sharing their knowledge.
It is hard to believe that next week is last week of fourth grade! The year has flown by but when I look at the students I see how much they have grown, and I know how much they have grown academically. Please make sure they are reading and practicing math facts and skills during the summer! All websites listed on this blog will continue to be available to students as well as study island, and ixl.com until the end of June. If your child does not know any passwords please contact me and I will be happy to assist you! In addition, Henrico County Public Library has a great summer reading program with lots of incentives and prizes. In 2016 Trevvett won for most books read! I would love for our Tigers to receive that honor again so sign up at Henrico County Library’s website.
Next week we have some fun activities planned as well as reviewing fourth grade concepts and completing our Writing. A paper copy of the schedule will come home in the students’ folders Monday. The students will not have homework next week.
Upcoming Events:
Thursday, 6/14-PAW Achievement
Friday, 6/15-9-9:30-Awards Assembly in class, 1/2 day dismissal begins at 10:55.
Have a wonderful weekend!
