They will be finishing up their animal and then create a story about their animal and their habitat this week. Be sure to ask them all about it.

Reading/English: We will continue to read our class novel, Restart and practice the reading strategies we have learned this year. Students will present projects they created to the class on a topic of their choice in the past couple weeks.

We will also be completing some fun activities incorporating our memories of 5th grade!

Science: We’ll be completing some STEAM activities during the next two weeks demonstrating all that we have learned in science this year. Our Volume Zoo project will also cross over into our science unit as we dive into the habitats of the various animals created.

Social Studies: We will finish an in-class project to help reinforce what we have learned about the West Region. We will also begin to learn about the 4 states that make up the Southwest Region. Our 5th grade states and capitals competitions start this week! Go Lyons’ Den!!
