October 24, 2021

It was a blast in the “Lyons’ Den” this week! We had more fun with science experimentation by observing at how heat speeds up the ability for objects to be dissolved and then created our own models of different elements using Fruit Loops. In math, we took a make believe visit to the Safari Restaurant to practice our skills with adding and subtracting decimals. We finished the beloved book, Because of Mr. Terupt, and the students were left begging for more. Fortunately, this is a series so I heard several students planning to read the next book in the series, Mr. Terupt Falls Again. I know our next read aloud will have them just as captivated! We wrapped up our week with a fun visit to the GAES garden with a Fit for Kids garden lesson on Friday.
