March 26, 2021

We had such a fun week! I really enjoyed seeing the creativity the students put into making the light spectroscopes as part of their asynchronous learning on Wednesday. Way to go! Next week students will have the opportunity to make some really cool sound projects using everyday items at home.

It’s hard to believe, but April, Spring Break, and the final 9 weeks are all right around the corner! While we are all understandably excited about all the fun that comes with this time of year we ask that you please continue to emphasize to your child the importance of staying focused and completing daily classwork and homework assignments, so that they are demonstrating their true potential.

Important Reminders:

Don’t forget to shut down and charge the Chromebook each evening. Periodically emptying the “cache” really helps the Chromebooks to run more efficiently. Several virtual students continue to have difficulty logging onto the Team’s meeting on time each morning. This causes disruption to instruction and daily attendance so please remind your child to log in no later than 8:00 each morning.

Yearbook orders have been extended to March 31!

We will move into learning about transformation and congruency with geometric figures.

Due to the half day, as well as our special visit from Miss Schrier on Friday, we will not have our weekly Greek and Latin vocabulary this week.
