The Varina golf team took on Henrico at Meadowbrook Country Club on Tuesday, September 23.
Long and accurate drives were expected from both teams prior the match.
The Blue Devils held their own until the very last hole; however, they came up short with 254 points while the Warriors took the victory with 130 points.
Junior and team captain Micah Bullock finished with a 56. Sophomore Addison Christian finished with a score of 49, which happened to be a personal best.
“Even though we didn’t win, everyone really improved and put forth their effort for the team,” freshman Amber Fiorillo said afterwards.
This match concluded the Blue Devils’ regular season.
