Accessing and Creating Blogs

Faculty and staff can create and access blogs without assistance by accessing “My Sites,” clicking the “Add New” button, and completing the form on the resulting page.

Accessing Your Blog(s)

To create a new blog, follow these steps:

Go to: http://blogs.henrico.k12.va.us/ and click “Log In” in the upper-left of the toolbar.

On the following screen, click “Use My School ID” to be logged in automatically.

Once logged in, you will be taken back to the front page of blogs.henrico.

From there, you can click on “My Sites” at the top left of the toolbar to be taking to a list of the sites to which you are a member.

On the “My Sites” page, you can set your primary blog. This will be the blog you are taken to first by default. This does not change your ability to access other blogs.

Creating a New Blog Site

To create a new blog, click “Add New” to the right of the “My Sites” title on the My Sites page.

On the resulting page, fill out the form and click “Create Site.” Your new site will be created and added to the list of sites on the My Sites page.
