Summary
Students will research a chosen habitat to become “expert tour guides.” Their findings will be written into a script form to describe the habitat to the viewers. They will then create a movie in PhotoBooth with background pictures that they have selected to go along with their scripts. The students PhotoBooth clips will then be combined into a class iMovie about the different habitats they have studied.

Approaching: The students conducted research on their selected habitat using a variety of information resources.
Approaching: The students self-selected their teams and divided the tasks amongst the group. The students communicated and collaborated to write and edit their scripts. They also worked as a team to create their PhotoBooth clip for their habitat.
Developing: The students used their research to respond to teacher created questions and elaborated on critical thinking problems.
Approaching: The students wrote creative scripts and selected photos to use as backdrops during their PhotoBooth presentation. The students also brought in props to use as they served as tour guides for their habitat.
