All About Mrs. Fletcher

Me in 4th Grade                                                  Me now

I am thrilled to be part of the founding class at Henrico Virtual Academy! Before coming to HVA, I taught at Maude Trevvett Elem and the MathScience Innovation Center.  I always bring my passion for hands-on exploration with me wherever I go, even into the virtual teaching world, so get ready for some fun!

I grew up in an Army family and got to live all over the United States and abroad. I earned a Bachelor of Science with a major in anthropology from The George Washington University in Washington, DC, and a Master of Education in curriculum and instruction from the University of Richmond, with an endorsement in gifted education.

When I’m not at school, I love to relax with my family and little dog named Buttons. My favorite things are unwinding on the beach, good food with friends, and exploring new things. I am also super obsessed riddles and puzzles, and can often be found checking out escape rooms around town.
