October

Hi, Varina Blue Devil Readers!  It’s Mrs. Spencer from the library.  I am so happy to be here with you.  My background is in the elementary setting – classroom teacher for 11 years, librarian for 10 years.  I am now learning what’s great in Young Adult literature and want to hear from you.  Stop by to say hello and when you do, share your favorite young adult author and book with me.  Also, “Teen Read Week” is October 9-15 (to encourage 12-18 year olds to “Read For The Fun Of It”), and “National Friends of Libraries Week” is October 16-22.  Help us celebrate by checking out books and reading them from cover to cover!
