To help parents understand the laptop initiative, every parent of a student new to HCPS Middle Schools is required to complete parent technology orientation.  Parents who have completed training for an older sibling or parents who are HCPS teachers are not required to attend training but are encouraged to attend. Please notify your school if you have already met training requirements for your 6th grade child.

Those in need to training may attend in-person training sessions hosted at any HCPS middle school or you may complete parent training online. Online training is available to parents at any time. Face-to-face sessions in HCPS middle schools are held during the early fall only.If you would like to complete training online, access the link above for “Parent Training” and then selecting “Online Parent Training”.
