Week of 1/28

Wow, in just third grade, over $1,000 has been raised so far for the Change Wars! Please continue to send in coins and help our class win! Reading Benchmark testing will take place on Thursday/Friday this week, so please make sure your child gets a good night’s sleep and has a hearty breakfast. Enjoy the holiday with your child Monday and I will see you on the 28th!

Week of 1/20

What an exciting week! The kids have jumped into a project to aid the bush fires in Australia and I am thrilled at their creativity and energy. We are working to incorporate the Henrico Learner Profile, specifically being global citizens and strong communicators. They worked not only on posters, but flyers, songs, skits, and will be visiting 2nd grade classrooms to ‘campaign’ for our charity. I look forward to the start of next week’s “Change Wars” and will update you on the outcome. Please send in change and help us win!
