What are we learning about this week?
Language arts: dictionary skills, PALS testing
Math: finish money, begin geometric shapes
Science: animal life cycles (butterfly, frog, white tailed deer)

May 1st: Money/Time Test; Go Nuts for Reading at the Diamond

Language arts – character traits (also a variety of SOLs to begin reading benchmark review)
Math – Money (counting coins up to $2.00 and comparing values)
Social Studies – China and Egypt

April 24th: Money Quiz
April 27th: China and Egypt Test
April 30th: Report Cards send home (please return signed envelope only)
May 1st: Money and Time Test AND Go Nuts for Reading- 5:30 @ Diamond

Monday, April 9th: Field Trip to Henricus Park (wear blue class t-shirts and comfortable walking shoes, bring a paper bag lunch from home unless you have pre-ordered a lunch from the cafeteria)
