Just a reminder….

The 1st Grade Thanksgiving Play and Feast is Wednesday, November 23rd, at 9:00 AM in the cafeteria.

Our class will dress as Pilgrims.  Girls should wear a white shirt/blouse, black skirt, and black tights.  Boys should wear a white shirt/blouse, black pants rolled and pinned at the knees (like knickers), and white knee socks.  We made the rest of the costume at school.

Please drop off your feast contribution to the cafeteria in the morning.  Parent volunteers will be in the cafeteria to receive the food and set up the tables for our feast.

Please send in 1 cup of rice in a Ziploc bag by next Friday, November 4th.  We will use it in a fun Thanksgiving craft.

Please make plans to attend Back to School Night on Thursday, September 22^nd, at 7:00 PM in the cafeteria.  The evening will begin with a brief parents meeting and then you will be dismissed to visit your children’s teachers in the classrooms.  THERE IS NO CHILDCARE PROVIDED, so please make plans for your children for the evening.

Bring your calendar so that you can sign up to be our class’s Mystery Reader!

By this Friday, please send in a paper towel tube and an apple.  On Friday, September 16th, we will use the paper towel tubes to make time capsules.  We will have Apple Day on Monday, September 19th.  Thanks for your help!
