PAST SPRING BREAKS IN EUROPE

2012

To emphasis internationalism, a group of IB and non-IB students and a couple of parents traveled to Paris and Madrid.  We experienced the food and culture; and learned the history of the two countries.  We also did a C&S project while in France–see the Community and Service Tab.

What would Madrid be without Don Quixote and Sancho Panza?

Madrid’s symbol, the bear and strawberry tree, at Puerta del Sol, in the heart of Madrid.

Madrid’s first capital was Toledo, a medieval walled city, 70 km outside of Madrid.

2016

In 2016 thirty three students and parents traveled to Italy.  It was a whirlwind trip taking us to Venice, Florence, Pisa, Assisi, Perugia, Sorrento, Capri, Pompeii and Rome.  We saw and learned so much and returned exhausted and inspired.
