Application process for 2017-2018
Below you will find a list of documents containing information about Maggie Walker Governor’s School for Government and International Studies. Please contact the Office of Gifted Programs if you have any additional questions.
Information sessions will be held the week of October 16th at the following school auditoriums (all sessions begin at 6:30 PM):
- October 17, 2017 – Rolfe Middle School
- October 18, 2017 – Pocahontas Middle School
- October 19, 2017 – Wilder Middle School
HCPS public school student applications will be available online October 16, 2017 through Zippslip. More information on this new process can be found below. Students who meet the application criteria (Criteria for Applying) will receive information from their school counselor. If your student did not receive this information please check with your student’s school counselor.
Private school and homeschool student applications can be picked up from the Gifted Programs office by appointment only beginning October 16, 2017. Call 652-3765 to make an appointment.
