Henrico H.E.R.O.E.S. Mentoring Program is committed to supporting the development and implementation of school-based mentoring in Henrico County Public Schools. Henrico HEROES Mentoring Program envisions a community in which every youth experiences one-to-one relationships and community support, which in turn allows each of them to develop into their full potential, capable of making informed, responsible decisions as involved members of our community. We have embraced 1:1, peer, and group mentoring to meet the needs of our students and resources available by school. We have 37 mentoring programs that span across our district with 11 on the elementary level and at least one program in every middle and high school.
If you are interested in serving as a mentor for the 2017-18 school year, please contact us at (804) 652-3813. In addition, feel free to checkout our department’s first edition of our bi-yearly newsletter posted below.
