I can’t believe this is the last week of school!  It has been an amazing year!

We are having such a great time these last days!  We are going to the States and Capitals finals!  The kids worked so hard to get there and they are planning on taking it!  🙂  Please encourage them to keep practicing everyday!

This week we will also be doing some fantastic activities.  Ask your student what fun things we have done each day.  🙂

5th Grade Moving Up Ceremony @ 8:15 am AND 5th Grade Luncheon and Celebration 11:30 – 1:45  Wednesday, June 12, 2019

•  8:15 – 9:15 ~ 5^th grade End of Year Awards and Moving Up Ceremony, followed by 5^thgrade chorus program (Only immediate Parents/Guardians in gym, any additional guests invited to the library for video streaming)
• 11:30 -1:45 ~ 5^th grade lunch/party sponsored by out PTA (5^th grade students only)
• Students should dress in their best attire for the Moving Up Ceremony. Teachers will provide an opportunity for students to change into more casual attire for their lunch/dance party. As we approach year end awards assemblies, please be mindful of space limitations at our school. We ask that families please limit guests to ensure parents of our students are able to be in the auditorium.  All other family members/guests are welcome in the library for video streaming. We appreciate your understanding so that we can ensure the safety of all guests as we adhere to fire code restrictions.

6/4  GAES 40th Birthday Celebration (6:30-7:30)  We will decide on posts for our students on Monday.  Students speaking during the opening ceremonies will also be chosen on Monday.  If your child is attending this event please ensure they are at school at 6:00 p.m.

6/7  SCA Hat Day $1 donation to JDRF – Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund
