I have tried and tried several ways to post our review from today. No such luck. I cannot even seem to email the flip chart. If you would like to review, the following topics will be tested: addition/subtraction, multiplication/division, measurement, elapsed time, number sense, graphing, equalities and patterns. We will review some tomorrow morning!! Happy Studying!!
I cannot believe that we are facing the end of January and the end of the first semester of school? My, how time flies.
What a treat it was to have a terrific Revolutionary War presentation from the Jamestown Outreach Center. Mr. Pizzetti lead us through a hands on lesson where the children were able to dress up as Virginia Militia, see the food available to the Revolutionary soldiers, and get an idea of what their camp may have looked like. Check out the pictures below.
We also conducted a STEM lab this week where we created a catapult. Be sure to ask your child all about it!!

What a wonderful week we had at Gayton!!! The program Tuesday night was fabulous!! The children put on a great performance and I am proud of them!!
Today the Jingle Bell Run was delightful!! Thanks to all who showed up to sing and run along with us.
