Here’s what we’ve been up too!

We’ve been making leprechaun traps, reading with cool green glasses and making aluminum foil boats that hold lots of bears!  The children had a lot of fun designing their boat with a partner.  The key was to make sure the sides were tall enough so that water didn’t get into the boat and sink it!  Engineering is fun!

We are looking forward to continuing our money unit by identifying and knowing the value of a penny, nickel, dime and quarter as well as counting small amounts of change.  In Science, we are exploring weather changes and learning the life cycle of plants, frogs and butterflies.  Thanks for your support at home!

Hold the date of Thursday, June 6 open for our Kindergarten end of the year program!   The children will perform several songs and then enjoy a pizza lunch.  Details will come home in the middle of May, but we wanted you to be aware so you can arrange to be at school around 11:00 – 12:00 am.

Happy Spring!  Linda Livingston
