Meet my husband, Jared, my son, Benjamin, and my cute dog, Holly!

I have been teaching elementary school for over 25 years, and have taught kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. I attended Henrico County Public Schools and graduated from J.R. Tucker High School before attending Longwood College.

We all love Holly, our cute little doggie!

When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Jared, and my son, Benjamin. We have the cutest doggie ever, whose name is Holly. She is a schnoodle. I love to bake, listen to music, read children’s books, spend time at the beach, spend time with my parents and friends, and do crafts. I’ve also recently gotten really interested in the embroidery machine! My mind is always thinking about my next creation.

Benjamin is currently in high school, and he takes some classes online, allowing him to volunteer in my classroom some. He enjoys art and technology, and loves getting to know all of my students!

Here are a few of my favorite things:

• I love the color red.
• I love the holidays, especially Christmas.
• My favorite season is fall, but there is something I love about ALL of the seasons.
• I love to shop at Michael’s, Target, Wal-Mart, Hobby Lobby, AC Moore, TJ Maxx, Stoney Point Town Center, Virginia Center Commons, and Short Pump Town Center.
• I love to eat Italian food. Some of my favorite restaurants are: Maggiano’s, Panera, Baker’s Crust, California Pizza Kitchen, and Cheesecake Factory… but any restaurant is great… I love any night I don’t have to cook dinner.
• I love ice cream, chocolate and peanut butter, and coffee.
• I am (and always have been) a kid at heart!
