Wow! What a busy week with testing. We have completed testing for the CoGAT (unless your child was absent). Students that were absent will continue make-ups next week.
With the upcoming cold weather, please remember to send your child with appropriate winter wear (heavy coats, scarf, gloves, and hats). We go outside every day for recess even when it is very cold so your children need to be bundled up.

We were busy pumpkins this week in 2nd grade. We finished our unit on weather and will move into the scientific method with fun experiments next week. In reading, we compared main idea and theme and dive into questioning with fiction using the questions of who, what, where, when and how. In writing, we continue to describe and add details with adjectives and will differentiate between superlatives and comparatives. In math, we finished up our unit on temperature and will continue our unit on data collection, graphing, and interpreting graphs.
