My name is Karen Hues and I’m an Elemntary ITRT. I am a former Henrico County student. I attended Longan ES, Gayton ES, Byrd MS, and Godwin High School. I attended and cheered for basketball and competition at Longwood University from 2002-2006. After graduating with honors from LU, I began teaching 5th grade at Longdale Elementary. In 2009, I took on the role of Instructional Technology Resource Teacher. I currently work at Greenwood, Longan, Montrose, and Trevvett. I enjoy helping teachers integrate cutting edge technology resources into their curriculum while helping students to make real world connections to their learning. I love the Outer Banks of North Carolina and was married to my husband, Casey, in Pine Island (Corolla, NC) in 2008. I am a mom to Chloe (6) and Kaylee (2) and enjoy traveling with my family to the beach!
