Small group counseling gives students the opportunity to work with other children who have similar developmental, emotional, or behavioral needs, or who are going through similar life events.  In small groups, the counselors provide a nurturing environment in which students can learn to solve friendship problems, improve focus and study skills/habits, develop better time management strategies, or explore the feelings associated with divorce and death. Students who participate in small group counseling are healthier and more productive. They feel connected socially and valued as a unique individual.
