We LOVE science in fifth grade! This year we look forward to many hands-on explorations, experiments, STEAM challenges, and field trips as we dig into our extensive science curriculum. At the beginning of each unit, a study guide will be sent home with a tentative date for the cumulative unit test. Please establish a routine of reviewing your journal, study guide, and/or flashcards each night to prepare for quizzes and tests. There is a wealth of information for students to master, so please encourage your child to study in manageable chunks. Keep in mind the SOL test in May covers all fourth and fifth grade science content, so strong study habits will be essential.
