Today was Mix It Up day!  Each class was given matching animal pictures and students were given an animal and asked to find another student with a match.   At lunch today, students were asked to sit next to their animal match student and meet them and talk with them.  I had popsicle sticks with conversation questions on them for students to ask each other.  I was also in the cafeteria from 10:30-1:00 playing music and asking students to ask his/her partner a question on the popsicle stick like “What is your favorite food?” , “If you had 3 wishes, what would you wish for?”  “What would you do with $100?” and more fun questions like that.  Below is a picture of the matching animals and conversation popsicle sticks.  Ask your child how they enjoyed Mix It Up Day. 🙂
