College and Career Awareness Week Contest Winner

Our College and Career Awareness Week contest Winner was Maggie McCauley!

She matched correctly 23 teachers with the correct college attended.   WAY TO GO, MAGGIE!  She earned a fun lunch with Mrs. Woody, a friend and a game she can pick outside this week.

 

Everyone who participated and matched did a great job as well!  It was a fun week!

Puritan Cleaners Coats for Kids Drive

What:  Springfield Park will be collecting gently used coats of all types and sizes for Puritan Cleaners and Salvation Army.  Their biggest need is for children’s coats, but they will take all sizes.  They ask that you ensure the coat is ready to wear and the pockets are empty.

When:  NOVEMBER 11-24

Where:  You may drop off coats in the bins provided in the main lobby.

College and Career Awareness Week

College and Career Awareness Week

November 2nd-6th is College Career Awareness Week.  To celebrate this week, we are having a teacher/staff and college contest that can be found on my bulletin board up by the cafeteria.  It goes as follows:

  1. Teacher/staff pictures are on the bulletin board.
  2. The college each teacher/staff attended are also on the bulletin board.
  3. Students are asked to match correctly the teacher with the college.
    1. Answer sheets are found in a folder next to the bulletin board.  Students fill out as many as they can correctly and return the answer sheet in the basket provided under the bulletin board.
  4. The student(s) with the most correct answers will win a small prize!

**NOV. 6th-STUDENTS AND TEACHERS/STAFF ARE ASKED TO WEAR A FAVORITE COLLEGE SHIRT, JERSEY, OR SWEATSHIRT TO SCHOOL.**
