Identity protection involves being smart about what information you are providing on the internet, as anyone can access the personal information that you post online.  It is important to create unique passwords that are changed frequently to prevent other people from gaining access to your accounts and information.

  1. Have students discuss the consequences of sharing too much personal information.
  2. Have students research real world situations that ended in a crime from sharing information online, or have students create a PSA to inform others about the dangers of sharing too much information, or have students create a skit about the potential dangers of sharing too much information.
