Law & Government Career Exploration Opportunity with McGuireWoods

Exploring is a unique after-school career education program for young men and women ages 14-20. It provides students with an opportunity to learn about careers in a specific field of interest and network with professionals already working in those fields. Young people get hands-on experience to determine whether or not a particular career field is right for them before making important decisions about their education. They can also develop valuable contacts with professionals and employers in the area, and get to know other young adults sharing the same interests and aspirations.

McGuireWoods and Williams Mullen are organizing a Law & Government Exploring Post for high school students to learn about the different career fields in Law.   The information and orientation meeting  will be on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 7:00pm at McGuireWoods Law Firm, (Gateway Plaza) 800 East Canal Street, Richmond, VA  23139.  Post meetings will then take place once a month from 6:30 to 8:00 pm, on March 22nd, April 19th, and May 17th, and then pick back up in the Fall.

Participants should register for the program online at http://scoutingvirginia.doubleknot.com/registration/calendardetail.aspx?ActivityKey=2312758&OrgKey=828.  Only the first 24 participants will be accepted into the program.
