The county will host several information sessions at the beginning of the 2017-2018 school year for parents and students to learn more about the different specialty center programs and the application process. All of the sessions begin at 7:00pm.

Open House: Thursday, November 30th at 7pm in Auditorium
Prospective students and parents are invited to come to Glen Allen High School to hear from current students and faculty members about the Center for Education and Human Development program. The Open House is designed and implemented by current Juniors within the program. In addition to hearing from speakers, prospective students and parents will have the opportunity to visit several classrooms and walk around the building to witness how instruction takes place within the Center.
The Center for Education and Human Development offers a ½ day shadowing opportunity for students who are either accepted or waitlisted into the Center. The dates for shadowing this year will be 3/12/18 through 3/23/18. Please call the front office at 501-3300 to schedule a shadowing appointment once you receive your notification of acceptance or waitlist.
The application for all Henrico County Specialty Centers will be available online on November 20th, 2017. Please click here for further information about the application process.
Private School students will also need to complete some additional testing in addition to completing the application. Testing registration for private school students will be made available on November 20th, 2017.
