Esther Black, a fourth grade teacher was born and raised in South Louisiana and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from Louisiana State University and her Masters in Education with a specialty in Gifted. Before moving to Virginia in 2008 Mrs. Black was a fourth and fifth grade gifted resource teacher. She has been a proud Coyote since the opening of the school first as a parent and then as an instructional assistant. While raising her four children Mrs. Black nurtured her love for education and teaching by actively volunteering in her children’s classrooms and closely following the ever changing trends in the field of education. With her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and children exploring the many interesting places Virginia has to offer, watching football, and relaxing with a good book. Mrs. Black loves being a Kaechele Coyote and guiding her students to reach their full potential as creative critical thinkers, problem solvers and lifelong learners.
