Monday’s in the library are now MAKER MONDAYS!
Trevvett has a new WHEEL schedule which is a rotating resource schedule. When students have library on Monday’s they particpate in Maker Monday. They use the STEM activites that are on our maker cart. Some of the fun activities on the cart are LEGOS, KEVA planks, Straw Constructors and Cup stacking!
Here are a few pictures from our last 2 Maker Mondays. ENJOY!
Mrs. G and I are so excited to start the school year! We hope you had a summer filled with fun, family and reading adventures! This school year my focus will be on getting books into the hands of EVERY learner here at Trevvett. I want them to enjoy reading as much as I do. I will spend this year getting to know your children better and learning what their interests are which will help me find them books that they WANT to read.
Other things to look for…
Guess the Book Title Contest...I will continue our very successful “Guess the Book Title” contest in the library this year for our students. How to play. Students come to the library and try to guess the book title from a set of emojis posted on the bulletin board. Winners are announced every Friday on the morning announcements.
Bookfair...We will have 2 book fairs this year. The first one is scheduled for 11/1/19 – 11/8/19. The second is scheduled for 3/9/20 – 3/13/20. The March bookfair lines up with the PTO’s Spaghetti Dinner event. More details will come as the events approach…
See you all soon!
