This Week

Mr. Schieber’s Class

January 7 – 11, 2019

Happy New Year to all of the Stinger Family!  The end of 2018 was an exciting one for room 110!  We had a visit from Marty the Author, the Jingle Bell Jog, and the Jingle Bell Jam. We celebrated all the positive behavior going on with a stuffed animal day a little while back. We’re very close to earning another reward for our positive behavior in the classroom, the hallways, the cafeteria, and our resource classes.  I am very proud of my class!  I am so appreciative of all the love and support I get everyday, but especially for all the volunteers that took the time to come in and help our class, cheer us on as we ran, or donated for our celebration.

A huge “thank you” for all the wonderful gifts and cards your children shared with me before Winter Break! There is no way to express how thankful I am for the wonderful family that I have at Short Pump Elementary. I feel so blessed to be with your children in a place that I love coming to each day!

It was wonderful to get back to school and our routine after a relaxing and restful Winter Break.  We had 2 busy days last week and are ready to hit the ground running as we approach the half-way point to our school year!  Second grade is transitioning to computer based testing now that we are getting used to using the new Chromebooks.  This is an big change for everyone and we are working through the challenges together as we get used to the new way of doing things.  I am impressed with the progress that the students have made.
