This March 17, from 10:30 to 12:30, there will be a leadership summit for Henrico middle and high school students.
Girl Up RVA is an empowerment summit for teens in grades six through twelve. All middle and high school students are welcome.
Through a series of speakers, workshops, and presentations, teens will learn how to become leaders within Girl Up. Our themes are advocacy, awareness, fundraising, and service.
Teens who attend the summit will receive two hours of community service if they participate in advocacy that day by writing letters or helping create a video. Hours will not be given just for attending.
