Would  you like to become involved in the election process? This November 7 is a statewide elections for the Governship and General Assembly. Even if you can’t vote, you can be a part of this historic day.

Students who will be 16-18 years old by the November 7,2017 General Election may serve as Student Election Page. Which means, you can help work in one of the county’s 91 polling stations.

To do this, you must:

  • Complete the appropriate training class that is required (dates are 10.24, 10.26, and 10.28)
  • Serve a 7 hour shift (please realize that you cannot leave early, plan ahead for work and school commitments)
  • Subscribe to an Election Page Oath
  • Arrive on time and remain at the polling station during your assigned shift
  • Maintain impartiality while serving
  • Not receiving compensation
  • You must also be a US Citizen
  • Provide your own transportation
  • Pack your own snacks or lunch/dinner
  • Dress appropriately
