SPARC’s New Voices for the Theater playwriting competition:
New Voices for the Theater is a 2-week intensive playwriting residency in Richmond, VA. Selected student writers will develop their work with a Nationally-recognized playwright-in-residence and local theater professionals to take their original one-act plays from thoughts on a page to life on the stage.
Play submission deadline: February 7, 2020 New Voices residency: June 27 – July 11, 2020
