Welcome Students Entering CFA in 2017-2018 School Year

We enjoyed greeting our incoming students at the recent New Student Orientation on May 16, 2017.  We had a great turnout!  The evening started with a general session including remarks from Director Dr. Stephanie Poxon, Principal Karin Castillo-Rose, School Counseling Director Erica Johnson, and FCFA representative Brandy Ewell.   A welcome packet with information about CFA events, bus transportation, student schedules and more was distributed.   Students then attended breakout sessions in the curriculum areas where they received information about the program and what to expect next year.  They also received a syllabus and summer assignment for their CFA curriculum area (dance, musical theatre, theatre or visual arts).  

We have posted the welcome packet, syllabus for each curriculum area and summer work assignment on this website under the current students tab.  We will the requested course schedule to those unable to attend the orientation.  Please call the CFA office at 228-2718 if you have any questions.
