Dear Prospective CFA Students and Parents,
Greetings! It is my pleasure to invite you to the Center for the Arts Open House. The CFA Open House will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in the Henrico High School Gymnasium. We are delighted that you are considering auditioning for the CFA Arts Program and to possibly making the CFA and Henrico High School your home!
We have a variety of activities planned for you, including presentations from our CFA staff and current students and performances from our Fall 2013 Performing Arts Showcase, “Under Construction.” You will then have the opportunity to attend two break-out sessions, which will allow you to obtain more in-depth information about our curriculum areas and the chance to meet our curriculum area teachers. The evening concludes with refreshments in the Visual Arts Gallery where you can speak with current CFA students and parents and view the artwork from the CFA Fall 2013 Visual Arts Showcase.
At the Open House, you will also have the opportunity to enroll in our CFA Audition Workshop. The workshop will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 from 9:00-10:30 and from 10:45-12:00. Students who are interested in auditioning for two curriculum areas can participate in both audition workshop sessions! Students can sign up for the Audition Workshop at the reception following the CFA Open House.
