Each year the American Association of School Librarians sponsors a video contest for students to showcase their technical and creative thinking skills to meet a set of requirements and produce a video to promote school libraries. This year’s theme is “You Belong @ Your School Library”! SO, to kick off School Library Month in April, 6th grade students in Mrs. Clements’ class worked in teams to create their own vids. They not only met the contest deadline by delegating responsibilities and scheduling mini-deadlines, they also experimented with new techniques and ideas to come up with some really fun results.
