On game day, athletes dream of hearing screaming fans, ringing cowbells and the band playing the fight, but the reality is most of them only hear the wind blowing and crickets chirping. Students and faculty need to make an effort to support all Blue Devil athletics, not just the king of sports, football.

Editorial: Exceptional effort
Exceptional education students make contributions on campus that are often unnoticed. For example, they help reduce Varina’s carbon footprint and get the cafeteria ready for lunch. In fact, the exceptional education students spend multiple hours a week leading by example and showing exactly what it means to be a true Blue Devil.
