Junior drags out driving tradition

Drag racing has been a big part of the Lukhard family for over 25 years. Junior Brianna Lukhard, the youngest racer in the family, has been racing for six years and has won 32 trophies.

After a five-game losing streak and a 50-point defeat, JV boys basketball players have come to terms with the changes they must make to ensure a better season next year.

Dedication takes team to regionals

The girls varsity basketball team (21-6) made it to the second round of regionals where they lost to Monacan High School 85-65. In the first round, they had defeated Deep Run 43-35.

Recovery after rocky start

Despite a stumbling start to their season, the boys varsity basketball team came together as a unit and made their way to the regional match against the John Marshall Justices. The team ended their season with a 10-13 record.
